Welcome to Walston Media. By visiting our website or purchasing our products or services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our site or placing an order.

1. Our Services

Walston Media provides custom design, printing, and advertising services for local businesses. All designs and materials are created to order and may include digital proofs, print products, and mailed advertising pieces. Project timelines, deliverables, and pricing are provided at the time of order.

2. Ownership & Copyright

All design concepts, layouts, and artwork remain the property of Walston Media until payment is received in full. Once paid, the client receives the right to use the final approved design for its intended purpose. Raw design files (such as editable source files) are not included unless specifically purchased.

Walston Media may display completed projects as portfolio examples unless you request otherwise in writing.

3. Proof Approval & Printing

Clients are responsible for carefully reviewing all proofs before approving them for print. This includes checking spelling, grammar, contact information, images, layout, and design elements.

Once a proof is approved, either through our Proof Approval Form or written confirmation, approval is considered final, and the project moves directly into production. After approval:

• Changes may not be possible.

• Walston Media is not responsible for errors or omissions present in the approved proof.

• Reprints required because of customer-approved errors will be billed to the customer.

Reprints at no cost will only be issued when the final printed product does not match the approved proof due to a production error made by Walston Media or our print partners.

Color Variation

Printed colors may appear slightly different from what you see on a computer or mobile screen. Differences in screen brightness, calibration, lighting, paper type, and ink absorption can all affect appearance. Minor color variations are a normal part of commercial printing and are not considered defects or grounds for refunds or reprints.

Agreement

By approving a proof, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the Terms & Conditions on this page.

4. Customer-Provided Files & Materials

Clients are responsible for ensuring that any images, logos, graphics, or content they provide are:

• High-resolution and suitable for printing

• Owned or properly licensed for their intended use

• Free from copyright or trademark violations

Walston Media is not liable for reproduction issues caused by low-quality or improperly prepared customer files, or for any copyright-related claims resulting from client-supplied content.

5. Payment & Refunds

Full payment is required before printing or mailing.

Because each project is custom-made, all sales are final once design work or production begins. Refunds cannot be issued after a proof has been approved, as approved artwork moves immediately into production.

Refunds may only be issued if Walston Media cancels a project before any work is completed.

6. Turnaround & Delivery

Estimated turnaround times are provided at the time of order. Actual production or shipping times may vary based on:

• Printer schedules

• Material availability

• Weather or seasonal impacts

• Carrier delays

• USPS processing for mailed advertising

Delays caused by shipping carriers, third-party printers, or USPS are outside Walston Media’s control and do not qualify for refunds or complimentary reprints.

Mailed Advertising Disclaimer (EDDM & Direct Mail)

Delivery dates for Every Door Direct Mail (EDDM) and other mailed advertising are determined solely by the United States Postal Service. Walston Media cannot guarantee delivery times once materials enter USPS possession.

7. Advertising Content & Responsibility

Clients are responsible for providing accurate and lawful content for printed materials and advertisements. Walston Media reserves the right to decline or remove content that is inappropriate, misleading, or violates community standards.

Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless Walston Media for any claims arising from the content they supply or request to be printed.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Walston Media be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific project in question.

9. Website Use

All website content—including text, graphics, images, and logos—is owned by Walston Media and protected by copyright law. Site materials may not be reproduced, distributed, or reused without written permission.

10. Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, store, and use information submitted through our website or forms.
